When the Cathy Richardson Band wanted an interesting retail CD package for their new CD release, they contacted Aspen Packaging & Media for packaging design assistance. This award winning package is printed on 2 sides, glued to itself, reverse folds onto itself, has a separate compartment to hold the song lyrics, is foil stamped, and has demanding graphic cross overs. Did Aspen successfully manufacture this challenging package? You bet we did.
In fact, this package was so beautifully printed and constructed that it was a nominee for a Grammy in the category "Best Recording Package" in 2003. The Grammy's were announced on February 7th this year. Even though it did not win the award it was one of the five finalists in this category. Is Cathy happy, you bet she is, and what a great album she has produced!
